I can't tell you about this game. So I'm just going to share the text I sent one of my closest friends and colleagues after I finished it:

"found a game.
you're playing it.
I don't care how it has to happen, if I have to pack up my PC, or host you here for a couple hours if that's what it takes, but there is a game here and you can beat it in an hour and a half I think you'll adore it.
I am tempted, honestly, to let you sit alone with it in a room for the duration. I'll wait outside."

It's the kind of art that makes you understand a medium.

I wish I could buy this game and play it for the first time again. Gorgeous soundtrack, beautiful artwork, and it's a literary masterpiece that uses The Tower of Babel to develop an extended metaphor about how, as humans, we hold ourselves back from the beautiful connections we are capable of making, and the fascinating development of language.

All I know is I must kill.

I found out what happened to the Dwemer.

My fortress gets raided, I call everyone inside behind the drawbridges. I realize one of my rangers is stuck outside, and without thinking I lowered the drawbridge... on top of her. I raise it again, expecting a bloody mess, but nothing. No hole in the ground, no body, nothing. A week later I get an alert: "[dwarf ranger] has been missing for one week." No evidence of her existence except the memories of her now-melancholic family.

10/10 would send my dwarf to the shadow realm again.

When I was eight, this game was a fun and chill time killer. What an idiot I was. Choke down six shots, crank up that blue light right into your eyes, and experience what it's like to be in a life or death situation.

Adderall never hit so hard as when I play Wilmots ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Warehouse.

Lemme start by saying this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rad, and I love it. But damn, there is a serious cheating problem in PVP. I still play it because the cheaters are always funny as hell, but yeah if you don't want to face people who can't take damage. Maybe just avoid PVP, and stick with the fantastic PVE elements.

Community consistently knows their ♥♥♥♥, nice to matchmake with randoms and nobody has to communicate beyond tagging, just because everyone knows their role. Developers are damn dedicated.

I largely avoided the hype surrounding this game, and for that reason, I was able to enjoy the game thoroughly. The bugs are not worth complaining about. What did anyone expect? Not to mention the vast majority of them are not game-breaking. Regardless of whether this game "let you down" (again, hype trains are never a good idea), or if you don't particularly like the bugs, you still can't ignore that this is a good game. I think it was worth every penny, and likely more. My advice? Just wait a few months for some more patches, get it then, and then enjoy what a genuinely good game it is.

Strategic, hotline miami-like gameplay, gives you the opportunity to be very creative in your strategy.
