Currently work in logistic, im a armorer (i fix gun basically). I was deployed on some foreign mission but minus Sudan, it was mostly peaceful stuff like help building telephone line in Tanzania and some medical training in Cuba.

In the case of the civil war, yeah they continue hostilities again. Nothing can be done really. The UN don't have the ball or care enough about the people of Sudan to invade the central government. Instead just set up borderzone and let warlord and the central "government" build up their military more just for more killing to happen. Sudan is a clear-case of racial and ideology war, some faction are multi-racial, some only consist of 1 ethnicity, the central government itself have it own political and religious agenda..etc they will never stop killing eachother till all of them is eliminated and control by a foreign power. The border of Africa and South Sudan in particular isn't suited for the real "nation" state the people living there belong to. The UK left the region and let it go into free fall, never bother to draw up any real plan for a proper government.

@Dementia Part of it is just because i play hoi4. The other part is because im from a communist country, is a member of the Vietnamese Communist Party and serve in the PAVN.
