Okay let me put it this way. A lot of the negative reviews are solely concentrating on the micro-transactions which in my case make little difference because like many people have said, they're cosmetic and as such, only for those who choose to get them. And I hope the in-game purchases remain purely cosmetic.
Now when it comes to gameplay, it's very good and much to my liking. Some people take issue with how the zeds spawn but honestly that has never presented itself as an issue in all the time I've played the game. Content-wise I'm still very into the game after playing all the maps over multiple times and with both bosses now completely studied and If more is coming it seems like I'm not going to get bored very quickly. Perks are not as tedious to progress in as they were in kf1. Many people said they are but they most definitely aren't. With 33 hours in my berserker is level 17 and I have two other perks at level 5. So tbh I could be maxed or at least close on my berserker at 33 hours. Besides it's good that progressing takes some time because so often reaching max level on something very easily makes that thing very boring very quickly. Overall I'd say at this point in the early access it's well worth your money and it's looking better by the patch.

A wonderfully atmospheric adventure that puts you in a visceral fantasy world.
It's got an indescribable feel to it that I haven't really felt coming from another piece of media in years.
It is absolutely worth the play and it won't take you that long either, it's short-ish but sweet.
