Had to refund because it kept crashing when I tried to load in and then on the third attempt I got a blue screen. My PC more than meets the specs, but the performance issues were so bad I had to request a refund because the game was quite literally unplayable. A shame, because the game looks very promising.

Every felt like rewriting history? HOI4 is an excellent WW2 grand strategy game. Ever wondered what would happen if Hitler never came to power and Germany became communist instead? You can! Ever wondered what would happen if the United States became fascist and tried to take of the world? You can! Ever wondered what would happen if Soviet Russia had Leon Trotsky as a leader instead of Stalin? You can!

I would highly recommend all the DLC, it adds A LOT to the experience!

An interesting mix between a puzzle game and a business sim, featuring a range of challenges from the very basic to very difficult. Great soundtrack too!

TL;DR: GAME IS BUGGY AF RIGHT NOW AND WORSE THAN CHIVALRY ANYWAY

The game has major bugs and performance issues right now. Progression and economy is disabled, can't progress, can't unlock weapons etc. If this was the only problem then fine, but if you're coming from Chiv a few points - "spins" and "reverses" are toned down but NOT IMPOSSIBLE. THIS IS A LIE. There are ONLY 4 MAPS. Morphs are very similar to feints and chambering is basically a near unblockable riposte. Potential at very high skill, but most of the time it's an RNG fest with people spamming attacks. Many weapons can one-shot, and you will be one-shot quite often. Imo, this is just an inferior version of Chiv.

Then there are the MANY MANY BUGS. Including;

- Resolution errors that make everything unclickable
- Progression system is currently disabled
- Economy is currently disabled
- You cannot purchase weapons or armour currently
- Random crashes
- Very long load times (not a bug, but a performance issues)

A well made and fun platformer, until suddenly for no reason I am playing a galaxian-type boss battle. Having no part except a small intro sequence in this format and then to expect the player to beat a boss in this format is completely unreasonable. I'm assuming due to the premise of the game it's the final boss, but after spending almost as much time on the fight as I did playing the rest of the game, I put down the controller in complete frustration. It ruined the game for me and I can say after uninstalling I won't be playing it again. 4/10.

Textbook example of how poor controls can ruin a very promising game! The latency and sensitivity options are not an issue on the "Hexagon" difficulty and you can get a good feel for them in under half an hour. I spent the second 30 minutes of gameplay on the "Hexagonest" difficulty. I found the inability to change the sensitivity here game-breaking. It was incredibly frustrating to react in time and yet still fail due to the pointer being slightly off, or whilst attempting to correct the pointer and overshooting.

+ Excellent aesthetics
+ Good soundtrack
+ Well thought out and challenging level design

- Complete lack of sensitivity options
- Unable to turn off voice-over without also turning off music
- Control latency in a game that expects you to react in ~100ms

Rating: 4.5/10, would not recommened. This game could probably achieve an 8/10 with the addition of a sensitivity slider.

Awful port, might be great later on but the learning curve is so steep I gave up after 100 minutes and got a refund. If you can't make it more than 5 minutes in to the first level after 100 minutes of play, it's probably not worth it.

This game is not hard - it's punishing.

Somewhat fun. If you're looking for something similar, you wont find it, so I'd recommend it on that basis alone. Struggles with lack of variety, but a solid game with a solid concept.

They should have left the multiplayer mode out. Amazing story, wont spoil it here, play it!
