SALTY REVIEW: Trying to play online as a newbie is a major ♥♥♥♥-show. It queues me with players that have well over a thousand matches under their belt. My experience with the online portion of this game has mostly been as a punching bag. I feel hopeless once the match starts. There's nothing I can do to regain control of the fight.

I set down my controller in one match, and I'm pretty sure the opponent didn't even notice.

Get it on sale, the offline portions are still worth it.

A love letter to home computer gaming in the 80's

When you want to shut out the world and drive, Absolute Drift hits the mark.

The price can be steep but this hits home with me. I played a game on PS2 called Test Drive: Eve of Destruction a lot in my younger years and this feels like a spiritual successor in every way.

Far from your average racer, you get game modes that go beyond the usual circuit or sprint tracks, breaking out into intersecting figure-8's, suicide laps, and more!

Not only is playing dirty allowed; it's encouraged!

Rock solid gameplay. I was worried it'd be geared too much toward online play, but the campaign is a fun personal experience.
