If you liked Valve's Left4Dead, you'll like this. It's essentially a modern, Warhammer-themed remake. The missions are the perfect length -- not too short, but still "snack"-sized to pick up and just play a round or two. There are not too many maps, but it still works. They are visually varied enough (forests, mines, cities, ...), and with the randomization of hordes and boss fights means you'll still have different experiences on the same map. Multiplayer support is well done and it's incredibly easy and quickly join into any game and start playing immediately.

Firewatch is a short but enjoyable 'game'. Well, it sort of falls into that walking simulator category, but I think the art style and setting really make up for that. Really, really. I believe it could have been more varied with the game play, and I would love to see this studio produce another game in the same vein but with more depth. However, being purely about the story, I found it to be a refreshing snack-sized experience. There's not much else I can say without spoiling anything.

As much as I enjoyed it, I really have trouble recommending it for full price due to its very short length. While it's still a good deal for a few hours of entertainment at $20, grab it while it's on sale.

An excellent puzzle game! The main levels should only take several hours to beat, but attempting the fastest time possible on each will leave you likely ripping your hair out at how nimble you must be. For its release price of under $10, I would definitely recommend it.

This game looks great and runs great (even on my older hardware). The combat is meaty and carries a lot of weight - both in melee and ranged. The single player is a fun bloodbath as you crush Ork hordes and stave off the Chaos forces. Unfortunately, the melee never evolves past the basic combos you have from the get-go, and it would've been very nice to see more of those, maybe as a skill tree. The online versus mode is rather annoying as by now you can spawn and get one-shotted by someone sitting around, but the exterminatus (team) gameplay is chaotic and extremely enjoyable. All in all, another quality release by Relic.

Gorgeous graphics and an air of amusement are defintiely this game's strengths. On top of that, playing co-op with a friend is incredibly fun, and I'd suggest dedicating one whole runthrough to that alone. The levels have a lot to explore, to the point where I was going mad trying to find every nook and cranny. I only feel bad for using the wizard to conjure boxes for a lot of parts.. kind of a shame that it's possible to break intended solutions with boxes and more boxes; but that would be my only complaint. But it's easily worth more than every penny of the $5 it currently costs!

An absolutely beautiful puzzler with pleasing aesthetics, and the music flows seamlessly with the unique art style. The game leaves it up to you to figure out some mechanics, which is great, but even so I breezed through the 7 main sequences without a hitch. However, the epilogue puzzles are now leaving me struggling - just what I wanted! I would definitely recommend at the price of $10.
