good ass game

I know, I know, I have an AMD GPU and I'm trying to play an RTX-specific game... but the only difference that even makes is the lack of DLSS! I guess that makes it a pretty good advertisement for DLSS then. For reference, I have an RX 6800 XT reference card (CPU doesn't matter since the game barely uses it lol) and I have to play at 640x480, upscaler set to Performance, and FSR turned on, just to get 30 fps! Don't get me wrong, it looks stunning at native resolution and Quality or Balanced upscaling... but I don't think that makes the 2fps I get reasonable. Lightspeed Studios have done a great job with all aspects of the game except for optimization. I like the new textures, RTX Remix is a really cool idea, everything is executed great! Just wish it was playable without vomiting from the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ upscaling and/or low fps.

I've had the game for 3 hours. Haven't made it far at all, as soon as I get anywhere I die, and usually die anyway.
Fun as hell

Finished the game a few times, really enjoyed it. Combat is meh but still worth a play even today. Do note that it would not appear to have any resolution support beyond 1920x1080 (although probably go to x1200 as well). Catalyst is pretty good too, stinks that its only on Origin though.

Its a good game, but Epic Games' ♥♥♥♥ is nothing I can put up with. I hope we don't end up with a uPlay or Origin situation where Steam has to launch them, and then the game is launched through the separate client.

As it is, I recommend the game for reasons which plenty of other reviews say, but I don't recommend Epic Games. Don't buy it there.
