It was fun to have a nostalgia feeling again and a disappointment that it ended already. Do you call this fanservice?

The starting conversation was the most entertaining 20 minutes i had, while not actively playing a videogame. While the intro, characters and crazyness are a masterclass, the enemy variety, quest and gameplay loop are severly lacking any interest.

This DLC is okay, while quest and enemies feel a bit stale, the entry and the legend about Joshua Graham carries this whole chapter. Maybe the tribes are missing more identity, I didn't enjoy fighting them too much or the crazy fallout moments just didn't happen.

The DLC looses its tension after playing both sides, in a uninteresting plot while the new systems are fine but feel lackluster and uninspired, boring after seeing the same 5 moves in every combat or assassination.

The first missions try to accomplish what that rest of the game does not achieve - throwing you in an industrial london with a unique experience and environments. Graphics are nice, atmosphere fits, new grapling gun is fun, but also destroys the climbing and exploration of buildings, especially the admiration while climbing. Less of the missions feel unique while in the middle of the game you feel like a whole grindfest and most interiors of buildings can be fully explored, but the rooms feel empty and same in regards of gameplay. Its still buggy and 3 weapon types and 4 enemy types don't feel interesting. Storycharacters don't feel interesting which leads to a stale experience.

This might be one of the more ambitious entries in the series when it comes to the world, graphics, combat moves, feel of the combat and free running as it is also the most lackluster for progression, story, characters, repetetive missions, useless skill progression, buggy as hell & uninspired Dead Kings DLC. It even is shameless when it comes to purchases, mission grindfest & gear progression.

Hard to learn and even harder to master, at least for wheel users. There are better games which deliver a smoother experience when starting out with a wheel. But when you determine yourself and get through the tough startup it is so satisfying to improve, manage your career or your team and improve your laps, times, pace or even single corners while having most of simulation elements.

Don't be afraid to start with a lot of assists. Lets see how it goes when I start disabling them.

There are better simulators for realism but this is a good game if your only interest is Formula 1.

It's sad to see were this series is going to. This game tries to improve upon AC Origins but got too many flaws to ignore. The baseline is a wonderfull open world to explore with a lot of islands. The world got character is pretty and I like mythological stuff. Does it fit into Assassins Creed? Hell no, not in this style.

What does go against it?
Uninspired combat - spam clicking with a handfull active abilities
Levelsystem and scaling - doesn't feel good and just artificially lengthens the game
Photo Mode - especially of the menuing and available presets
Lock on Combat - locks alot onto wrong targets, also pretty useless and bad when fighting multiple enemies
Enemies are also locking on when using and winding up abilities which takes a artificial look and ruins immersion
Climbing and movement issues - can climb anywhere which disengages exploration of possible paths, also bugging around when climing is not working properly
Mechanic where fire is needed to destroy targets - torches doesn't need to help when you got multiple targets, tedious mechanic
Storyplot is lost - lost within quest, side quest and malicious activity to get better gear
No shields - should improve combat, but greek/spartan soldier without a shield? really

I love the setting in acient greek, weapon and armor styles and graphics. Assassin's Creed series just delivered one more uninspired titel and lost its ability to introduce new and engaging systems, a immersive story and interesting characters.

This is the worst title of Assassins Creed so far, cause its missing identity, innovation, a motivating story, fulfilling subplot. This title is just there to flick some holes of other AC title stories, but it just cannot suprise or impress with any feature. At one point you even had to farm ship upgrades for multiple hours just to progress the story. Is this was AC has become? This game lacking interesting features, improvements, world is missing interesting architecture and good design and feels like Black Flag, just without intention, innovation, being shorter and worse.

The time of templars, which we fight against,
the time of time savers, which we decide against,
the time of meaningless bossfights, which we strive against,
the time of going rogue just started, may the father of understanding guide us.

This game is what you can do ingame, a leap of faith into the abyss.

Disappointed, playing ultra nightmare and i am through the tutorial. Turn offs so far:
- 20 pop offs of weapon skins
- 3-5 minutes community quest completions poping in
- recticle are dots or generic crosshairs > pistol and rifle got no own recticle
- recticles are not active when the HUD is turned off
- some animations make enemies invulnerble, e.g. landings
- horrendous damage scaling some enemies are one shot by a headshot while surviving a whole magazine in the chest(remember they got burst projectiles and instagib you, if you need to reload)
- bad checkpointing: while dying in the tutorials you need to accept the tutorial hints over and over again

The game got some neat graphics and animations, but there are a lot of NoNos.
