Shadowgate (NES) was one of my first video games and has been a favorite ever since. I was so excited when I found out this sequel was in the works! I'm only through the first leg of the Beyond Shadowgate journey so far, but I love it already. It looks and feels and sounds and plays just like the original while still being entirely its own game. They nailed the balance between nostalgia and new and I can't want to die at least a dozen more times as I complete this adventure!

EDIT: I've completed the game for the first time and I absolutely loved the last chapter. Thank you to everyone who made this game possible!

I have tried and failed countless times to get my cat to play Hide And Seek with me. When I ask Remlit to go hide so I can seek I am typically met with a look of disdain that says, "Excuse me, ma'am, but you know I'm the hunter of the family."
He's not wrong! Besides, it's difficult to incentivize. How can I use treats to teach him where to hide? At best, it would appear to be thinly veiled cheating. As a hunter of great integrity, Remit would never tolerate this. But whenever I hide somewhere he seems perfectly content to wait me out rather than seeking! He's far more patient than I am.

Thankfully, I found Ever Seen A Cat? and can enjoy an endless run of kitty-seeking fun for as long as I like! Lovely soundtrack, pretty colors, adorable kitties, fun achievements, and you can best your own fastest time when you replay a level. A+

An amazing game on premise alone but with even more depth, humor, challenges, and fun than I ever anticipated. I love this game and hope to see more DLC - or Maneater 2 - in the future!
