A game with high potential having fun with the franchise died by the lawsuit issues and developers communicated that they finished their work with the current state of the game as final version.
Actually, Summer Sale 2019, you can get it for -80% respectively less than five dollars/euros. If you love the franchise, you can still try the multiplayer mode to find a sympathic lobby of users or just give the story mode a chance.
Definitely not worth your money as a full price offer.

Borderlands 2 is one of these games that makes itself special in a whole genre. A bright star that gives you so many for the money you finally paid for.

Pros:

• Mysterium of travelling your way that has to be done without vehicle by bunny-hopping whole time. ^^'

• Dark Souls II: Analyse exactly each enemy.
  
• 4 pers. coop BL2:
• One person will try explain tactic.
  
• Three others already in there -> Aaaaattaack!! - One time with pro's.... ATTAAAACK... xD
  
• You can stealth, lift-up, peng-peng, get the h... out of them
• Nuke your gun.
  
• Circus of Flying Axes.
  
• Team > Single-player.
  
• Phantastic helpful community.
  
• Share vs. Duel.
  
• Farming/Looting.
  
• Fun never stops by optimization of the gear.
  
• Amazing crazy dialogues by Tiny Tina and Mr. Torgue (Wishing him as sales rep for vacuums or a wrestling promoter.).
  
• A story line that you will never regret having played it with all its side-missions.
  
• Most stylish and entertaining main-villain, you could wish for. (Personal advice: English voice setting is the best.)
  
• So many ways for your personalized build of your six different game characters.
  
• Badass tokens.
  
• Each story dlc is unique in its way and makes your heart smile.
  
• Plenty bosses that keep you focused.
  
• Bazillions of guns.
  
• Legendary equipment.

Con:

• SPOILER! After playing UVHM => Normal + TVHM feel too easy ->Enemies cannot regenerate health!

Résumé: Take it.... take it.... take it.... xD Have a lot of fun and keep a sharp lookout for your next enemy; it could be dropped a legendary item. *.* ^^
