an interesting and fun combination of turret defense and racing, its basically harm's way (xbox360) but on pc.

awesome, if you like driving around in something you can truly call your own creation, you'll really really like this game.
discovering new ways to build tanks feels like you're a scientist in a minecraft world, i'll keep playing this for a long time if the devs don't mess with the good things about this game!

well, guess what... the devs messed with the things that made the game good, now it is awful and i've stopped playing robocraft since early 2015

in short, it's like a wipeout clone on steam... but free to play, try this if you like futuristic racers! now this game just needs more players (and content), other humans are a rare sight in the lower tiers.

Horrible title, poor voice acting, and numerous bugs hide a surprisingly underrated game.
i have been playing this on windows XP a long time ago but when i switched to windows 7, the game would be missing things ingame, or not work at all.

so, what did i do to get it to work on win7?

1. unpack the packed gamedata
this appears to fix a lot of loading problems, and made me discover this game actually had weather and a skybox. this process is normally a part of loading but breaks down on many win7 machines.

2. modify the main configuration file
this handy little tool allows you to correctly adjust the game resolution for any screen, and can turn off video's that might chrash the game if you have x64.

3. create a debug profile
there's a chance the ingame menus crash the next time you run HTA and load your last save.
Every time HTA starts fresh and before you load a game, start a new game on an empty profile, skip the cutscene and quit to the main menu after the game asks you if you need hints, this appearing of the hints dialog seems to fix this issue until you shut the game down.

4. compatibility mode
I tend to use the "vista" mode, but my experience is that it only somehow helps the first time you need to pass a loading screen, after that the game seems to work without it until you uninstall it.

another thing, SAVE OFTEN and don't be afraid to use console commands when the game breaks you! (example: game physics suddenly decide to hold you hostage on top of a lootcrate just above the ground, bandits keep spawning and eating away your hp, game logic doesn't understand you're stuck; you rage and abandon hours of progress)
this game can be very very punishing even with cheats.

its a good multiplayer 3d shooter, the weapon crafting is fun, but the community is very divided atm :(

years ago i was hooked on the original flash version, so naturally when i saw this i thought "what could go wrong" and i purchased it, and well...... there was nothing to go wrong..... almost literally, no fear for earthquakes collapsing your tunnels, no fear for low fuel, no mystery in the background story, just a long and safe grind to get to the next underground station.

i did like the addition of the bombs and the multi player, plus the better graphics, but to be honest this game is a lot less exciting, and dark than the original.

allright sega, that was fun and a great trip through memory lane...... but now do jet set radio future!
