They are having to many server issues right now.
The game is good and fun. But hold off on buying until they iron out these upstart problems.

Great game. Great stories come from it and great mod support. What's not to love?

Short but good. Most puzzles are easy though.

The game is good. If you liked the first one, you'll likely like this.
However, the performance is bad atm. Updating to the latest NVIDIA drivers helped, but I still have issues.
If you have a PS5 or Xbox, check the reviews for it on that and consider getting that version instead.

This is all in the same area, I can have good fps and frame time. Around 60-70 fps. But it will for unknown reason suddenly drop to around 30-40 fps and the worst I've had it was down to 15 fps.

I have all the bells and whistles turned on, but my GPU is rarely taxed to 100% And changing from epic preset to low preset does not seem to make much difference.

Edit after science update:

The game is a lot better now, but there are still a ton of bugs that cause issues during gameplay. Some you can work around, others you just have to reload a save.

Parachutes not deploying, staging not working correctly. You can’t have an engine and a decoupler in the same stage as it often causes a bug where the craft doesn’t decouple.

Quick save OFTEN if you’re getting this game and be prepared to load often when the game breaks something.

Wait at least a year before picking this up.

Buy KSP 1 and have a look around the forums to find some great mods. It's a much better experience. Looks just as nice with mods and have more features in the base game.
This is also overpriced for the state that it is in.

I'll give this another go once they are close to the same features as KSP 1 and have gotten rid of some of the bugs.
With mod support the community might do some miracles eventually.

I'm leaving a positive review to try and balance out all the negative ones that have been made because of misunderstandings.

I like the story of wintermute and can't wait for the final chapter!

I was going try the game a little bit before bed, because going to work in the morning.

Then it's 5 am.

This game has a lot of good things going for it. Looking forward to exploring mid and end game.

Ok, so I'm actually enjoying this game now. only took them a couple of years.
I still have a few issues. The biggest problem I have with the game now is that there is no ability to filter what maps you want to queue for.
More than once have I quit a match as soon as it loaded because I did not like the map.

But if you can get it on a discount you can have some fun with it.
