Other than that I'm always searching for novel designs and innovative methods of modeling systems in video games. There's something my brain finds super delicious about a well designed system. Also, I find abstraction one of the most fascinating concepts of all time. Period.

I don't get to play as many games as I used to which is a bummer but I enjoy making them as much as playing them, maybe more so.

When I do get to play, I like my game systems as intricate as possible. However, a nice skill based system as a mechanic in a game can feel amazing and fun. Intricate as in all the systems that make up Dwarf Fortress versus the simple, yet intuitive and natrual, combat system of Dark Souls.
