Uh...I haven't gotten very far in the game but it is OK. They did the fan service of stealing a lot from Saving Private Ryan. But I feel it is a bit too guided such that it is more of an interactive movie than a game. I first got the Xbox version but then got PC so I could use mouse/keyboard. That helped but...eh. I give it a tepid recommendation.

*sigh* There is no getting around that when Mafia 3 was released it was a buggy mess.

But since then, the bugs have been fixed and some GREAT DLC has been added.
The Stones Unturned DLC is my favorite. All 3 DLC packs add new weapons
and new areas on on the map to explore and enjoy.

I loved the game after the bug fixes. The gameplay is good, the gun play is really good,
the story is good, and the soundtrack is GREAT.

There is some dull repetition but it can by minimized by just doing what you need
to advance the story. After you've done the required damage for a goal and
you get to a person asking whether to go forward or not, just say "yes" unless
you want to keep playing additional missions.

I found the game a good mix of stealth and gunplay with a GREAT sound track
and some fun driving.

If you haven't played it and can pick it up now for a low price, I highly recommend it.

The PC version is very enjoyable. A nice GTA game except set in private high school.

I love these goofy games. Inexpensive, funny banter, fun poker, and some TF2 items.
