Great mix of PVE & finally a balanced PvP meta.

Destiny is an immersive universe with surprisingly deep lore, visceral combat & a focus on team coordination. The character subclass builds are now varied, with specialisations for playing the way you want to. You can define your role in Raids, Gambit & Competitive Crucible play.

The original Destiny rewarded me with some of the highlights of my gaming life; such as defeating Atheon in hard mode Vault of Glass & the later challenge modes of the same raid & others such as Wrath of the Machine. The new raids are excellent & I welcome the changes to ornaments. There is a wealth of content here now. Bungie are listening to community feedback & their updates improve the game at every opportunity.

I made friends both online & IRL due to playing the game. The smoothest shooter around at that time, Destiny 1 was a tough act to follow. Destiny 2 expands & refines the whole experience & continues to be a wonderful place to spend time.

Whilst I respect Bungie's need to recoup profits through in game purchases I feel that the pricing is excessive. As someone who paid for everything over the last 5 years it's disheartening to have the best looking cosmetics mostly locked behind, what is to me, an unreasonably expensive paywall.
