Excellent PC port, complete with N64 music and everything bindable for a keyboard + mouse layout. Makes this game less of an FPS and more of an adventure/platformer. For less-experienced FPS players, this is a relatively good way to ease into that style of gameplay. FOV can generally only be set to specific values, but can be wider than the N64 version. I still remember quite a few of the secret areas in this game, and many I've forgotten. Very clean treatment that I wish other N64 games could have had.

I couldn't leave broken alone, so I tried again and invested another 2-3 hours of troubleshooting graphics settings and figuring out how to get a Switch Pro controller to work. After additional research, I finally got the game running, although cutscenes take almost 3 minutes to fade out sometimes, making the game feel a bit awkward. Follow this tutorial TO THE END: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=670473220 This helped immensely, and making all of the appropriate changes throughout made the game playable.

With switch pro controls, disable steam input for your controller, be sure to use BetterJoy for Cemu and set the Joystick on the Rogue Squadron launcher to Xbox 360 controller, which is the wrapper to prevent your controller from actuating every single input.

Took about 2 hours of going in and out of the game, using Ctrl + Alt + Del to close the game when it gets stuck, and using the launcher over and over and over and over. The game should work directly out of the box tbh, but considering that PC hardware and peripherals will never be the same from player to player, I understand why it's so difficult to get the game working.
