The goal of the game is to kill all the bugs before your friend Jomes can deposit his sticky seed on them late at night.

In the current state of the game you will get killed by chinese hackers >50% of the time. It has steadily been getting worse, not better. Bluehole makes big press releases about banning a bunch of hackers but I have not noticed a decrease at all.

Wow is this game fun. Best played with a controller. Buy Rocket League, you wont regret it.

A DLC buying simulator that has a fun but repetitive mini-game in which you go to a bank and cause a scene because you over-drafted your bank account buying video game DLC.

Lots of early-access pre-release games are barely playable crap. Some of these run at or near the full price of AAA titles and have been in "alpha" for over a year, or go full release without ever being finsihed.

Besiege is not one of those games. It's only been on Steam for a month and honestly for $7 its worth what it is already. There is a ton of content and potential still on the way, but even if there wasn't i would not be disappointed with my purchase at all. Buy it, build some ridiculous machines, take a look on youtube at some of the absurdly elaborate stuff people have made. If you like physics sandbox type games at all buying this game is a no brainer.

Paused my campaign game because you cant save. Came back and campaign had deleted itself. Kinda ruins the experience.

So they moved from early access to full release while the game was still unfinished. I thought that was kinda weird. Then they released a new paid DLC package for the game, except the paid DLC package is like, basic game features.

Apparently a Tutorial counts as DLC. When I bought 'early-access' apparently that meant I will never get to play anything besides the unfinished version of the game without coughing up any more money, which I most certainly will never do again to this developer.

Fun game, once the devs can make the engine support the massive super-prisons we all want to build without annhilating performance it'll be great. Not super intuitive UI, but it is pre-release indie so.

Probably the best F2P game out right now. Yes spending money does significantly reduce your grind time but since you get to (roughly) choose what tier you compete against its not like you'll wind up at a huge disadvantage so long as you understand the matchmaking system. If you want to spend money wait for a sale and get one of the packs.

why are you reading stupid reviews for a free game.

Kind of fun to plink around with a friend but honestly it feels pretty p2w and the non-paid unlocks are suuuuuper grindy. Also annoying that you don't unlock things particularly faster if you play well or do well in a game, its based mostly on amount of time played.

Quite fun, but you should do some research on medieval military combat before trying to play online. Most matches consist of tightly organized teams fighting in formation against one another using advanced tactics. Expect to be perma-banned if you cant maintain your position in a shield wall or don't understand what honour is all about.
