It's ok. It's got great presentation, but the gameplay loop is kinda tedious (especially thinning out your deck), has some interface issues, and is extremely short. It's not worth the money.

It's pretty good for the first couple of hours, but then it's just more of the same. It looks a lot deeper than it actually is, and the interface is absolutely atrocious. I'd give it a thumbs up if it cost about half as much.

Great little game

edit: Updating review to negative because somehow this little game is using nearly 50% of my GPU. They added an option to disable rendering and it only reduces it by 5%.

It's pretty good, but the undead kingdom feels horrible to play.

Also most of the achievements seem to be broken.

Are you wondering if you should buy this game? No. It's worse than Vampire Survivors in every way in its current state

1. The dev(s) clearly have a reddit-level sense of humor and think things like 'teh sex' and 'succ' are funny. I'm sure they probably use FTW without a shred of irony or self-awareness. The text in this game makes me want to bite my own face off.

2. It's Knockback: The Video Game

3. Everything is underpowered. Everything sucks.

4. Boss fights are a chore because of #2 and #3. And the final boss fight is just a copy of the Minecraft.

5. There's no depth to it at all.

6. The 'you need to find the boss to progress' mechanic is stupid.

Most of these are pretty fixable, but the lack of depth in the weapons/tomes/etc is what I think will really hurt it in the long run. It feels like someone had the idea to make a Vampire Survivors clone but didn't have any idea what to do past 'make game' so they filled it with cringe memes.

I would've refunded it, except it semi-crashed and kept running in the background, so Steam counted it as being played for more than 2 hours.

It's good, but it really needs some way to make your King more of a dominant force in your run. Because you only get your own King's cards when you fight a rebellion, you generally end up with more foreign cards than your own King's. Also, more information on each card would be nice (boosts damage, but by how much? etc)

This game is so dumb that they don't even show you the stats of your towers. And they won't even commit to fixing that. I'd refund it if I could.
