TLDR:
Gameplay is slow really slow.
There is no story, script is really basic.
Art style is mediocre, but combined with the gameplay, it screamed "Dull"

There is no tutorial or anything. For controls you have to look through the menu. For the very first level I jumped down the ledge and was wondering if it was a game breaking bug that I was stuck. I had to search online for walkthrough to find out you have to jump on the rock to break it (could be my lack on imagination but there was no hint whatsoever) . Gameplay is dull and slow, didn't enjoy it one bit.
Level design was really basic.
For a puzzle it doesnt require brainpower.
For a platformer it lacks the excitement due to the slowness of the movements of the character.
This game has a 85% rating so i thought if the gameplay isn't up to standard, the story would make up for it, right? The short answer is a 'NOPE'. The writing and animation is really basic-when the boy meets the blob, he ran away in fear (god knows why he wasn't afraid of the insta-kill black blob that he saw on the way to the crash-site), then without pausing for breath, he stood up and shouted "come-on boy, come-on". The boy gave the shy blob a hug and they were BFF from then on. I mean come on, who wrote this stuff? Was the writing grabbed straight from a child's fantasy story?
The idea of it is really good- you have a transforming friend that helps you traverse across the level. But the execution is done so terribly that it is kinda sad.
I can't imagine going through the whole game without a lot of patience. It is really testing. I can see it as a family game that you play with young kids, but I do not recommend it to any other demography.
