I have been playing this game since the very first pre-Steam versions, and let me tell you: It's been amazing since day 1, and it's only been getting better and better as time goes on. If you feel it's not got enough "polish" graphically right now, you'll definitely change your mind as the game progresses. If you feel it's too flashy, the developers thought ahead and offered a handy option before even starting the game to tone it down! Play the game the way YOU want!

For gameplay, the game's really fast-paced and incredibly fun. Tons upon tons of weapons, 10 specific ones of which can be combined to form spectacular screen-destroying combos of flashiness! The power you get is so, so satisfying and exhilarating, which just adds to the crazy fun. Tackle Story Mode to witness the adventure of the gem-loving kitty herself, Boki, as she realizes this fact herself, or go Endless Mode for some random fun where the waves keep coming and you get destructive power to your heart's content! Of course, let's be honest here: if you're playing this solely for a story, this may not be the right game for you! But if you want a fun action game where you're a kitty that can shoot dragons and carrot missiles that squeak when they explode? This game's for you!

The game absolutely feels very smooth to play, especially if you have a gamepad. It might be a little wonky to use on a keyboard at first, but there's a control remap the minute you launch the game, ensuring you go in with the controls YOU prefer, the ones YOU are most comfortable with.
