Absolutely insane to drop paid DLC that is nearly half the price of the base game, especially after such a terrible launch. Doesnt give me hope that the base game is going to see actual improvements that arent locked behind paid DLC in the future.

Played it for the first time over the weekend. Really fun to play, grows upon Civ 5 in a lot of good ways.

Too bad when I went to go back to my save, I was unable to load it. I made sure to save every 5 rounds or so when I was about to end for the night, but it seems like for the last two hours of gameplay my saves didn't write to disk. The autosaves are there thankfully (hopefully they saved what I was doing), but I cant load those either. Very sad stuff.

Playing this game without its ingame music should be considered a sin.
