You know, the base game is cool and all I guess. But where it really shines is when you download and play community maps such as "[Hide and Seek] Shrek's Night House" with your friends!

With 88.8 hours of playtime under my belt, 100% game completion AND 100% achievement completion, I feel like I am FINALLY qualified to give a review of this game. As I have, quite literally, experienced all content there is in this game!

This is frankly speaking a new era of LEGO games. It takes a lot of the original core mechanics of the old LEGO games I grew up playing, i.e LEGO Star Wars 1, 2 and The Complete Saga, LEGO Batman, LEGO Indiana Jones, etc. and completely modernizes it. We've got the classic stud collecting, character collecting, and upgrades. What is also still here are the standard "story levels". However, this time around its all been throw into a strange open world sandbox/RPG style game, and in my humble opinion they nail it.

If you're just here for some quick in and out LEGO fun, then this is definitely the game for you. The story and the levels are very entertaining and well put together experiences, and a great way to re-live all 9 episodes of the epic saga we all love! To top it all off, (I never thought I would say this about a LEGO game) this game has BEAUTIFUL graphics. Honestly some of this game is stunning! Not gonna lie, this game even made me enjoy the sequel trilogy, which I am usually not very fond of. In my experience, it took around 3 to 4 hours to complete each episode. So if you're just looking to play through the story its gonna take you around 27 to 36 hours to complete it!

If you want more than just some quick in and out fun, and you want to re-live the old days of LEGO Star Wars 1, 2 and The Complete Saga, collecting every mini kit and unlocking every character. Fighting to achieve that sweet sweet 100% then OH BOY is this game for you! The sheer amount of stuff to collect in this game is absolutely MIND BLOWING! Now I wont lie, it can get a bit grindy at points if you really want that 100% game completion. But if you are a sick twisted completionist like me, then you will love every second of it! All in all, the game is said to contain around 80 hours of content if you're going for 100%. This seems about right, as I'm writing this review right after I achieved 100% and I'm currently sitting on 88.8 hours.

Final thoughts:
Is this game perfect? Oh hell nah, this is not a perfect game. I've run into minor bugs here and there. And as I stated, to get that sweet sweet 100% some grinding must be done.

Is this game fun? Oh hell yeah! This game is A LOT of fun! I think theres something for everyone here, no matter how much time you want to sink into the game. I found myself nostalgically reminiscing on my childhood, playing old LEGO games. I found myself re igniting my burning passion for Star Wars, and in conjunction with playing the game started a marathon of all Star Wars movies and shows (The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, etc.). But most importantly, I found myself having a lot of fun with a video game for the first time in quite a while, and I could not put this game down.

Is the game a polished masterpiece? Hell no! Does it have to be a polished masterpiece? Hell no!

The quirky physics and goofy art style is what makes the charm of this game. What makes it fun is hopping into a lobby with your friends (or viewers on Twitch if you stream) and cause absolute mayhem for each other!

This game is so good that Netflix decided to create a whole K-drama by the name "Squid Game" based around the concepts of this game!

Great game to play with friends and have a blast. There are bugs and some gameplay aspects which are iffy. But overall its a fun experience.

Great game! I love the Far Cry series and all the games, this is no different. The core mechanics and whatnot are very much Far Cry, however there has been some significant switch up. These are primarily done to the map and how the world is explored/interacted with. The Story was nice, however they could have done more. But at the end of the day, its a Far Cry game with absurd over the top action and tight gunplay which is extremely nice. I finished the main campaign in less than 24 hours when I was rushing it, cause beating a Far Cry game as fast as possible is something I do with every game and its fun, don't know what that has to do with the review though.
Anyhow, great game, great graphics, great gameplay, pretty good story... slightly lacking in that aspect.

This game is a hidden gem. Get on this with all your buddys and you will 100% have a blast, and its free so what the hell!

This game is truly amazing!
It takes strategy elements from previous paradox games such as Europa universalis and Krusader Kings and brings it to the next level.
Since the game is based in SPACE you have way more freedom of how your empire will look, behave, what kind of ships they have, etc. This makes the game extremely fun and emersive.
The game is also good att explaining to a new player how this type of a game works, unlike previous paradox titles.
If you like strategy games, or just space games, this game is worth the money!
Seriously, go buy it now!

I have played this game a lot now. And I have got to say. It is realy amazing. The story is great and immersive and very interesting with awesome characters that you actually care about. I have played the previous Mafia games and this game takes everything good from the two others and builds on it. Most of the people giving this game a bad review hardly put in more than 1 hr into the game and didn't give it a shot. And the only thing they say sucks is the frame rate. And yes it is bad but Hangar 13 has said they are working on a patch to make it possible to play at 60fps.

Sure its not the best game ever but i give it a solid 8/10 maybe even a 9/10.
Because at the end of the day, what makes this kind of a game good is not the grafiks, its the gameplay and story. Grafiks is just iceing on the cake!

After finsishing the whole game I realy have to say, I LOVED IT! After the fps issue was resolved there wasn't much more bad to say about it. The story is fantastic with characters you will love or hate ( in a good way) and the way they tell the story. It is so creative and awesome. The cutscenes are AMAZING! and it feels like playing an interactive movie. Although the grafiks were FANTASTIK in cutscenes and often times in game there were som dissapointing textures such as the sky. For anybody looking for a great story/narrative game, this is probobly for you.

This game is absolutly FANTASTIC!
Its hilaryous and the community is great. This game is over all AWESOME!

This is a great game. Great campain, Great grafics and great Co-Op/multiplayer.
Altho for an even better campain play Far Cry 3!
