I wasn't able to play the demo so i was excited about this game and well it's not as good as i thought.

You can notice from the very first moment that the game has lack of audio. When you start new game there is an intro explains what happend. The intro has no audio, not just that it doesn't even have cutscenes only, a picture of Corvus (MC) with text explains the story.

Story is something you won't be looking forward to in this game. The way that show the story is annoying, you should search for some papers here and there to read about what happened, as the developers tell you to skip it, but it's not a big deal all the matter is to know that you lost your memory and everything else is unnecessary

Didn't expect that, but the game controls are perfect not too much inputs, you can get into it quickly

The map is fine and you can access any level, but you can't teleport between beacons (bonfire) in any level. Sometimes while dodging or attacking you will get stuck because of some areas designs. There isn't much difference between levels they all has the same dark atmosphere

The game has only 2 NPCs and there is nothing interesting about them such as quests or design or even voice (There is no voice acting).

There is many different foes with each of them has it's own plague weapon. Foes can't climb ladders (there is ladders everywhere) which make levels much easier. Bosses are quite different from each other, you will definitely enjoy fighting them. I hoped the developers added a place after finishing the game where you can fight any boss whenever you want.

Bugs are out of control in this game, i'll mention some of them.
1. When you die from the tutorial boss then leaving the game and rejoin it, your health will be 0 and the boss is gone, you'll get stuck in the tutorial.
2. While taking off the first bar of Varg's health i got teleported into the void and died, i lost 50k shards i kept falling into the void till i left and joined then what happened? as you expected the boss disappeared
3. In the final boss i dodged a critical hit then i became invisible, the boss is unable to damage me and i'm unable to do anything until i left and joined.
4. After killing the last boss i talked with Aisemy (1 of the 2 NPCs) and the dialogue froze, can't skip it or do anything, i left and joined several times and it worked.
5. Last and worst bug "Rolling Required Ahead" i've been farming for literally 5 hours to break 1000 barrel and i didn't get the achievement (edit: 6.10.22 still not fixed).

Here is the best part of the game. Something to know that every foe has 2 health bars, regular and wounds, foes can heal there wounds over time. Combat in this game is incredible, everything about combat is great you can cancel a combo, you can deflect easily, you can throw darts(feathers). you can change your whole playing style by only learning some talents. You have 2 main weapons saber and claws one for regular health the other for wounds, no blocking (actually there is, but it sucks and it's unnecessary). There is 3 different types of heal potions, not much difference between them, you can also make recipes that gives you extra buffs. No stamina, instead energy for your plague weapons. Plague weapons are the main idea of the game there is 21 different weapon with each of them has a way to use it, one for regular the other for wounds, range, buffs, shield, and even health weapons. You can upgrade a weapon by killing the foe that has it or you can simply reave it. You can mix saber attacks, claws, feathers teleport, plague weapons, deflect and dodge easily

Thymesia is a good game you will enjoy your first 10 hours for sure, but i'm really pissed off because of the achievement bug. With all the cons i've mentioned above if you have the money and want to play a good game for at least 10 hours Thymesia is a good option

"it may contain some spoilers"
Sinner should get a little more attention from players. It has really good visuals with an average story for a S-L game, but for me i like these type of dark stories although the endings ain't the best. The controls are simple with a basic tutorial at the beginning. Before each boss you should sacrifice something such as health or supplies, well this is the best part for me it make the game way better and it pull you to complete the game.

Weapons in this game ain't that good. It has a plenty amount of weapons for a 9 boss game, but most of them are really bad compared to the basic 2 handed weapon, they should've nerfed the 2 handed weapon like you won't even use the sword and shield. For the other weapons which you can unlock through defeating bosses, each weapon has not bad moves, one of them has heavy, but slow moves, the other one has fast moves, but lighter damage and so on... Well you could choose the playstyle you like, it's still fun and challenging to try different weapons

Combat in Sinner is good, as you expect from a S-L game it has normal and heavy attack with block, dodge, parry and supplies which it will decrease through sacrificing. The normal and heavy attack are ok with every weapon (except the basic 2 handed weapon it has way better normal and heavy attacks). Blocking in this game is something you won't need and won't use a lot, you can block with every weapon (shield weapons will protect you better for sure) it's just not worth it you lose a lot of your stamina for useless protection. Dodge and parry, here is the part where the game gets broken. When you dodge you become invulnerable for much more than what you need, the game gives you a lot of i-frames like you can dodge 2 hours before the hit and you will still make it. Parrying is also broken and because of that you won't need to block at all, you can block long time before the enemy hit comes and you will still parry (you can't parry with like half the bosses either because it's not possible or it won't give you an opportunity to hit the boss). When you have broken parry why would you use your shield and waste stamina while you can get multiple hits for free.

Every boss in this game represents a sin with each of them having it's own unique moves and story. As i said before you should sacrifice something for every sin and you have the choice to sacrifice in the order you like (mine: Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Envy, Pride, Wrath, Greed). The arena of each boss gives you a feeling of the sin he represents, like wrath boss has lava arena it feels he really represents his sin, Same with other bosses. The same with bosses design most of them has a nice design which make you feel he represents that sin. There is 8 main bosses and a secret boss, every boss has a move will annoy you for sure.

There is 4 trials in Sinner and each trial make the game harder and harder. You have the 1st trial which is the original, everything i said above is about the 1st trial. Then you have the 2nd trial which is kinda annoying because you have no i-frames when you roll, but you run faster, i mean when you have the ability to roll it's just broken and now they removed it and added extra speed, that didn't fix it. 3rd trial is pretty good which you have only one life if you die you should start over, but in this game you can't skip any cutscene, every time you die in this trial (or if you start over any trial) you should waste about 3 minutes watching unskippable cutscenes. The last trial you start with 2nd and 3rd trials activated, but you have something else to worry about, you start with your character already sacrificed everything to the bosses, it's very challenging trial and i wouldn't recommend it. At the end, i played this game several times and it's a simple game you should try.
