honestly kind of mad that this works so well for me. i have the world's worst brain when it comes to being able to focus, and now i've written 19 pages of my wip over the past two days. i feel like this shouldn't work and i'm so MAD that it does. this stupid adorable duck has completely hacked my brain into WANTING to be more productive because then i get to PLAY DUCK GAME. thanks so much tomato. you little bastard. i owe you my life.

update: i've now officially completed the tech tree and while i'm still greatly enjoying my newfound producktivity, i wish i had a little more to spend all these snails on. honestly i don't even mind having there be no more gameplay benefits but i would love, like, stupidly expensive little trinkets to display on an ingame shelf. they don't even have to do anything i just want to spend like 5000 snails on a pixel art cat figurine that maybe makes a stock sfx meow when i click on it during downtime. i don't know if that's at all feasible i just find it a little less engaging to make snails go brrrrrrrrr at the end of a season when i'm not saving towards anything
