I am a fan of the original and no matter who are you - I suggest you to stick to (or get) the original, which is still accessible via Steam as well, it runs much better and provides better experience in general. I cannot believe what they made with this game, how they could fail so badly and still release it.

It was very bad at the premiere in December, I decided to give it some time so they will patch it and realized the last patch was in January so I thought that 3 months after the release the game is now playable. NO IT ISN'T. They basically somehow broke the engine port so even though it shows constant high amount of fps (I have it capped at 141 due to screen refresh rate being at 144), the game stutters miserably all the time, is not smooth at all and thus not playable. Not the matter of my hardware, as I own a 4090, game is just broken.

Fun fact: when I was buying 4K monitor back in 2022, I had in mind that Kingpin is on it's way to be remastered and couldn't wait to play it... Such a disappointment.

This is the most wasted ~100$ bucks in my life. Less then 2 months later this edition costs about 35$ less for a reason.
I pre-ordered the deluxe edition of the game that is bugged, has only a few types of enemies and a missions that are very very repetitive. After a few hours you will notice that the content in the game is literally a copy-paste of what you have saw before, but maybe in different colors, or with a sand intead of swamps or canyon. In terms of ideas of what you can do in a game I would rate it 2/10.
When weekly-events are coming you have to be very lucky to obtain a reward for them, I am doing everything since the missions started but I am getting only ~half of the rewards due to a bugs that result in not counting the mission as finished and I cannot do anything about it. It's soooo frustrating.
My advise: do not buy this game now, it's really not worth your time and nerves. Maybe later in 2020 everything will be fixed (but devs are a big slowpokes in that area as for now) and it will be on some sale for 10-15$. Or maybe it will never be fixed and you shouldn't ever buy it.
I really doubt I will ever pre-order some bethesda game anymore after this disappointment...

Simply one of the best games of all time, and it doesn't get old.
Graphics doesn't matter, gameplay is better then in the nowadays games.

BUT you need zdoom to get full pleasure from the game.
