The antivirus program is actually Comodo

Got a virus from an infected photo via the steam chat. Something along the lines: Hey you got to check this out, it will come from a freind on your list.

Looks like a png so no big deal, but it changes to a scr which executes a file that starts sending out similar messages to all your friends.

Sorry to anyone that may of gotten a message like this from me: Domodo Antivirus seems to do the trick, plus delete the downloaded file from your computer and remove it from the trash.

I did an extra bit of work and started a restore of my computer, looks ok now.
