If you enjoy running through the same 3-4 "levels" or being forced to play solo control point maps where you have no chance at all of winning this game might be for you. Not to mention almost everything "fun" will cost you real world money. If you want to do the PvP system you better pay real money for good weapons. If you want to co co-op with random people who will just jump past all the fighting and go straight to the objective hey that is no problem either. This could have been a really great game but it is ruined by greed and poor netcode. The crafting system is great but after grinding out in the same place for all the items because you didn't want to spend real money on them you can craft them with the shorter timers only taking 12 hours. Fear not you can again pay real money to speed this process up! Avoid this game.

Played this game for a few hours and was having a lot of fun with it. Encountered a quest where I had to kill a mob and then examine the corpse. Seemed ordinary enough of a quest until I arrived at the location where 30+ other players had the same quest and were constantly competing for kill credit. Can not progress the quest line without it. Can not even get to level 10 without it. Very poor mechanic design. Spend your time and money somewhere else. This developer has not quite figured out how to make a great game yet.

If only this game played like it looked in the trailer. The menu system is extremely buggy and despite being able to put your crew into seperate groups to better organize them it isn't saved on death or loading a saved game. This becomes a huge pain later in the game when you have a huge crew and you've specifically set up certain crew members for certain jobs.

You can hire new crew members but have no control over what kind of stats they will have or what type of character they will be. Your main character has to do all the treasure digging which requires changing out your melee weapon to a shovel half the time.

The combat system is very aggrivating. Once in combat you can't control who your crew is going to attack and will often mean you are in a corner fighting while the rest of your crew is on a free for all rampage to the death or victory. The only way to keep members alive is to constantly pause the game then load the crew member screen. Not to mention if you do not teach every single crew member to swim they will die if they get knocked in the water which later on in the game happens a lot.

The tooltips in the game for items are very vague. Half of them feel poorly translated from another language other than english.

I didn't spend much on this game and I'm glad. This game is no where near the quality of Terraria so do not let that trailer fool you into thinking otherwise.

The Good: Somewhat refreshing take on a top scrolling RPG. You have some humor in a lot of the dialogue that keeps this game from taking itself too seriously. For the price tag the visuals are slightly above average with a decent soundtrack. This game is not a top shelf game. If it had been released in a store this is the type of game that would be in the $15-$20 bin within a month of the release. If you expect this much you will not be disappointed.

The Bad: The combat system leaves a lot to be desired. I found in my short time playing I could win a fight by just pounding keys 1-6 in order. Often I was pulling extra groups just to enjoy fighting. Each character only has two abilities and once you learn the proper order to put them in based on their cool downs (which isn't very long even on the bigger abilities) you can probably just run your finger back and forth on the number keys. The healing system is also a pain to use. It revolves around a quick heal or a channeled heal but both are based on a cool down timer so you can literally spam heals over and over not to mention with the combat system being as easy as it is you rarely need to. I found my healer often spends most of his time auto attacking because he has no offensive ability. Last but not least the "dungeon crawls" are extremely repetitive. There isn't a wrong path to take or a secret door to enter its just a set map with a few different paths. Often to even get the full reward of playing you might as well clear it all rarely ending up with crafting materials to make the important items. This brings me to the last gripe: The crafting system. Every time I found myself trying to grind to get materials to make an item that same item ended up dropping as loot or something insanely better. I'd wager you could complete this entire game without ever crafting a single thing.

But for $15 or cheaper you really can't go wrong. If this game were $20 I would have not recommended this game.
