This game is recommended to fans of the series, but casual gamers and people who aren't familiar with SAO should stay out.

English translations completely change the personality of the characters, and the game does not offer the Japanese language option.
There is no backlog in the ADV sections. If you miss a line, you will not be able to read it anymore.
Game itself is okay, combat can be enjoyable but may be too complicated for casual gamers, and it can get difficult to find mission objectives due to poor indication. Farming can get tedious if this is not the only game you play in the foreseeable future.

However, the worldbuilding is excellent. The world does actually feel like an MMORPG despite not being one. For the age of the game, the graphics are not bad. There are fake players walking around, entering combat as if they are other online players, and it's a really nice touch.

It's not a bad game to play with friends but I think it's a bit expensive without a sale

高性能ですから!
ーアトリ

The artwork, the BGM, the SFX, the voice acting, they're all done really well, there's honestly not much to complain about
And the story is really well written tooー as expected of Konno-sama; I didn't know what to expect of the ending at first and it was really exciting to read on.

There is a dual language option for those who are interested. However, my only complaint for it is that the text can become too small with the option on, especially the furigana.

Though to be honest, maybe I'm slightly disappointed in the endings. Maybe it's because I enjoyed the story too much that the endings felt relatively abrupt.ー
I really hoped that the true ending would be longer though, it being so short made it so that it's hard to feel what exactly happened before it ended. All the endings are, however, still very well written, and worth to go through. Instead of the current true end, I was very much hoping for an ending where Natsuki found a way to retrieve ATRI's consciousness and not let her die and lived together instead of the one right now, but sometimes you just can't get everything you want, I suppose; I respect the writer's decision, albeit short in terms of story, the true end was really an emotional reunion, it's really sad how they both will meet their end soon afterwards though

Hoping for a fandisc soon!

Spoiler Ahead
And, out of the 9 negative reviews (as of 2020-06-24), one complained about it not having enough choices, which is fair, however, the other 8 reviews, which are all in Chinese, complained about the true ending not being to their tastes. cont ↓
-Personal Opinion-
While I personally didn't like the true ending either, it does not warrant a "not recommended", why?
The ending is likely written this way to encite the reader's thinking. Why did this happen? There must be a reason behind this as Natsuki does not seem to be a person that will do something that is morally "wrong", so he must be convinced that it was the right thing to do at some point. After END 1, Natsuki decided that he had to go to the Academy for studies, and according to the TRUE END, only 3 students from that school entered the academy, Ririka was named, Natsuki was implied, and that leaves one more person. It could not be Minamo as it's, quoted, "the first of them was Nanami Ririka". As Minamo is older than Ririka, it does not make sense that Minamo would enter the academy later than Ririka. And so, the last person could be anyone, likely unimportant.
This means that, either Natsuki got together with Minamo before the summer holidays ended, or Minamo was a 通い妻 ("commuter wife") to Natsuki when he was in the Academy, or they got together after he graduated, or, Natsuki didn't actually go in the institute after all.
Natsuki waited 8 years for his first love despite not knowing who it is and knowing Minamo likes him. That takes a lot of patience and self-control. Natsuki is hence, likely a "man of principle". he would unlikely be doing this unless he has to or it seemed to him that it is the right thing to do.
If someone were to write a bad review just because they didn't like the ending, it's very likely that they're just incapable of thinking. There's likely a reason why the writer wrote it like this.

It's 3 games in one, comes with a digital version of the limited edition Art Book, Light Novel and Drama CD.

Worth it just for Rinne Utopia and Arusu Install, both amount to about 30 hours each if you're intending to do the true ending. Rio Reincarnation is relatively short and the dialogues for different endings aren't very unique, it mostly serves as an epilogue to the two previous games.

play order:
Rinne —> Arusu —> Rio

I'd like to thank my friend for introducing me to the series. I really enjoyed this game.
Story 9/10 Gameplay 7/10 Controls 5/10

Story
If you are new to the series and would like to start on the story, this game can be served as an introduction to the characters, but I'd recommend first watching the anime or play Hyperdimension Neptunia instead. This game does not tell or add much to the main storyline of the series and the characters are introduced in a rather sudden fashion. However, this game is still not a bad place to start, and lets you know the main characters well. Despite it being the first game I've played in the HDN series, I still enjoyed the story and found the characters very lovable. If you have already been acquainted with the series and it's story, I highly recommend this game as most of the characters you know and love are in this game, this game even comes with a few additions.

Gameplay
Gameplay wise, it is unique to the other HDN games. In this ARPG style game, there are less enemies, but each individual one is stronger, which is different from the previous ARPG titles. There is good justification for it as well, since the goddesses are mere players of a game. Quest progression is not as slow (compared to previous titles I've played) and there are no character limiting quests like in Hyperdimension Neptunia U.

One particular quest may be confusing to some in the early parts of this game. I'll save the details.

There is a multiplayer option for this game, but me and my friend could not get it working. We cannot see each other, our character models are stuck underground. We can move but the only thing present on our screen were our own weapons. We cannot attack or jump but we could still be attacked and get hurt. (If anyone has a fix please tell me)

Controls
As usual for the HDN series, the default controls are horrid unless you have a controller. However, you can change the key bindings in the settings to make it more tolerable. I got through the entire game with just mouse and keyboard. You can attack and block with left (LMB) and right mouse buttons (RMB) respectively. I cannot find a way to change what the mouse does.

But, at least the menus can be navigated with the mouse in this game...

My keybindings:

Move Right
D

Overall, I enjoyed this game. I'd recommend it to both new players seeking their first Neptunia game and veterans who have yet to play this game.
