Rust: A Survival Game or a LARP Session?

Oh, Rust. Where do I even begin?

Recoil Changes: A Comedy of Errors
First off, let's talk about the recoil changes. It's like they decided to replace the gun mechanics with a random number generator. One moment you're a sharpshooter, the next you're spraying bullets like a garden hose. It's like playing Russian roulette with your accuracy.

LARPing in the Wasteland
And don't get me started on the LARPing. I signed up for a survival game, not a medieval reenactment. If I wanted to pretend to be a horse-rider in the post-apocalypse, I'd join a theatre troupe.

Dev Decisions: Questionable at Best
The dev decisions are... interesting, to say the least. It's like they're throwing darts at a board of ideas. "What should we add next? More survival elements? Nah, let's add more role-playing features. That's what our player base wants, right?"

Conclusion: A Missed Opportunity
In conclusion, Rust could have been a great game. But between the recoil changes and the shift towards LARPing, it feels like a missed opportunity. It's a survival game that doesn't seem to understand what makes survival games fun.

Rating: 4/10 - For the laughs, if nothing else.
