I like this game.

This game is almost perfect for what it strives to be. CrossCode seems to be genuinely loved by the developers, a game full of rich and amusing content.

Highlights:
- Challenging puzzles and enemies with a wonderful learning curve.
- Unique and intense combat.
- Rich, lore-filled storyline.
- Hours of sidequests, if that's your thing.
- Great controller and keyboard/mouse support.
- Assist mode to make the game more accessible.

Lowlights:
- Occasional performance hiccups.
- Light end game content (version 1.0.0 of the game).
- Game plot practically begs for multiplayer support.
- I was sad when the story ended. (Give me more plz.)

Interesting quirk about the game: It's a top-down camera view, but is full of jumping puzzles. The devs handled it great with both a game UI and game mechanic that makes them enjoyable and challenging.

10/10 will play again on any new platforms it comes out on.
