very nice and cool

I played thousands of hours of the Arma 2 DayZ mod, it was the most fun I've ever had while gaming, so naturally I bought this game as soon as it was released in early access. I wish I hadn't, it was even glitchier than the mod and it didn't feel like the same game at all.

Having said that, coming back to this game in 2020, after years of development I think this game is pretty close to what it should have been like at launch. It doesn't feel like a broken game anymore, community servers and mods make the game way more fun to play.

Yes dayz is pretty grindy and feels like a running simulator at times, but when you encounter other players you get an adrenaline rush unlike any game I've played over the years, and that's what makes it worth it.

I'm happy to see that the glitchy and buggy mod from Arma 2 got its own standalone game and right now I think it's very enjoyable, especially if you have friends to play with. I only wish that we could've skipped the years of unplayable early access and slow development.
