I think we all know going into an EA game will be bad, so that's the tl;dr.

Let's start off with the good, or perhaps the not awful:
The combat is alright. Not good or great, but it doesn't suck either. Character controls are pretty fluid and feel good for the most part. I guess the graphics are nice too, but they ought to be since that's the only thing a AAA company gives a ♥♥♥♥ about. Level design is decent at best, but again, it doesn't suck.

And the bad:
Character design, horrible and unlikable cast for the most part. You're never given a reason to care, and it's clear that this SW game is Disney-era and not actual SW.
The story is incredibly bare bones, and on top of that the cutscenes are not skippable.
The soundtrack feels flatliney and unengaging and most of the time I didn't really notice it being there at all.
The AI is EXTREMELY prone to break, all the time, for no reason other than you reflecting a projectile back at it. The AI pathing is also horrendous, and it will randomly get stuck on terrain such as small stones or slopes, or a small gap.

All in all, a bad game by a bad studio. I got it on sale of course, but it still wasn't worth it. Watch Dunkey's vid of this game, the bugs he shows are still in the game after 3+ years. Don't buy this trash.

easily the weakest game in the reboot trilogy, it's extremely repetetive and predictable and borders to tedious. out of the three reboot games this is the only one i refused to 100%. beat the ending and uninstalled. also the platforming controls are clunky and inconsistent; the story is alright i guess but feels shallow

Visually stunning, but the gameplay is such an uninteresting slog from start to finish. I went "please let it be over", and then the (unskippable) credits rolled and i sighed out of relief and said "finally...". 3/10

don't buy it, way too easy to sink over 60 hours in 4 days. i almost want my life back

It's very beautiful and the controls are great. The gameplay itself is rather minimalistic and some people may find this boring. I was hoping for a bit more story, but then again i'm King Pepega so I might have missed it.

6/10, good game, get it on sale

an absolute treat of a game. the gameplay itself isn't much, but the story and atmosphere is amazing. expect ~4 hours of wholesome creepiness.

Really good game, plays more like Hollow Knight than the first Ori game. The controls are solid and the combat feels great, the platforming sections never feel like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and you get rewarded for exploring and backtracking after unlocking new abilities. The soundtrack is just as amazing as the first game. However, the game is a bit short; I beat it in 13 hours in-game time, with a 90% completion rate. Still worth the price.

Also the story was touching just like the first game, but it takes a while to get going.
