It definitely has the same feeling as mid 2000 horror games like Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. This includes the jank and plenty of awkwardness but that's part of the charm. The combat system is pretty scuffed but you get used to working around it.

It takes a while to warm up to the game but overall I think it's an enjoyable experience! It's arguably one of the best examples of scenery inspired by Giger's artwork!

A solid 6/10 from me!

For what gameplay there is I quite enjoyed this. The enemy animations and model are very impressive and the chase sequence was entertaining. The art direction is also really appealing and works nicely for a horror game. There are a few clunky issues with the game in terms of environmental glitches and the GrabPack vanishing that are solved with a respawn but it was an overall smooth experience. I'm genuinely interested in seeing the game in full and more of the storyline.

What I do need to object to, however, is the pricing. I'd be happy to pay more for a full game or even just for longer lasting instalments, but each chapter costing £3.99 for about 30 minutes of content seems like it will add up very quickly for a fairly small amount of gameplay.

It's free, it's got some neat features, and it's got three good replays in it. Give it a shot if you've a spare few hours. It has plenty of surprises for you!

It's a walking sim, with all the excitement that comes with that genre. Don't expect much thrilling gameplay here. The game also suffered a little from just how blunt the messages it offered were. I appreciate the idea, but I think it could have used some more subtle touches.

Overall, I don't regret spending a little time with this game.

(The platforming in the dark can suck my butt, though.)

If you're first finding out about this game- do not look up anything. Play it blind and it will be nothing like that which you expect.

But for the love of ♥♥♥♥, be careful on cliffs.
