This is a cool idea for a game, but unfortunately it's not implemented very well. Movement around the environment is atrocious. The game frequently lost track of where I was, and sometimes items would just randomly drop because they bumped into something. The teleport movement system is really wacky compared to other games and would sometimes let me go through walls.

The puzzles themselves are okay. I really didn't dislike the concept of the game, but playing it was a very frustrating experience. Unless the movement mechanics get an overhaul, I think you can skip this one.

I would only recommend this game when it's on sale. The experience is really cool, but as many other reviews have mentioned, it is very short. Some attributes of the game do just feel like a showcase for what VR is capable of, but perhaps that's because of when the game was released. It equates to about an hour of gameplay.

I am looking forward to playing episode 2. The story has just begun in this game, the atmosphere is really cool, there are still many questions, and I am interested in seeing where the story leads. There is a backpack inventory system which works surprising well despite having to reach over your head to use it. I've had some experiences in other games where anything over-the-head or behind-the-back is buggy and unreliable, but this one is solid.

I would recommend this on sale if you're interested in seeing the kind of immersive and story-driven environment that VR has to offer.

klocki is a fun little puzzle game, perfect for using your brain but not being frustratingly difficult. It starts off relatively simple and then gets increasingly complex as the different concepts you pick up along the way start to be combined in each puzzle. Definitely worth it for 99 cents.

I Expect You To Die is a really great seated VR puzzle game with a sense of humor. Even the game's introduction is fantastic. The mechanics are generally easy to learn and apply in the levels, although I did annoyingly die a few times from the game interacting with things I didn't intend to. There's definitely a lot of trial and error, but the humor and atmosphere of the game make your failures feel natural rather than frustrating.

It's somewhat short, but I think appropriately so. Trying to fit in more levels might have started to feel tedious; I would definitely be interested in a sequel.

To The Moon is a game that contains a unique story that kept me interested to keep digging further until the end. The gameplay mechanics can be frustrating at times, but this isn't something you buy for the gameplay. The two main characters are fantastic. I don't know if I'd recommend it at full price, but definitely something to grab on sale.

Refunct is exactly what it markets itself to be: a short, relaxing platformer. This game is perfect for zoning out.

Perhaps I wasn't the target audience for this game, but I generally found myself just trying to get through the different parts of the game instead of enjoying them. Some of the puzzles are interesting and make you think a little, but others are just "trial and error" until the solution works. I found the environment and overall atmosphere generally convoluted; I couldn't shake the feeling that I was walking through random level experiments. I suppose it makes sense for the price point, but if you enjoy a good puzzle game you can probably skip this one.

Quern is an overall fantastic game for any fan of the puzzle genre. There are a handful of puzzles throughout the game that I think are a bit silly (the types of solutions that make you roll your eyes), but the majority of the game is not like that. For the most part, it is a fun experience requiring you to use your brain to connect the dots to figure things out.

There is some semblance of a story, although I did not personally find myself caring or being particularly interested in it or how things turned out.

Definitely worth it if you like casual puzzle-solving games and figuring things out for the fun of it; you won't be disappointed.

No-nonsense weapons with no reloading. Cheesy voice lines. Vague story where you need to kill a lot of people but aren't entirely sure why. An achievement with the description "Deal with guys from cave near the road." 10/10

Superhot VR is a fun overall experience that also gives you a workout. It manages to take a few base mechanics and combine them in ways that provide a diverse play experience that doesn't feel like it's getting old as you proceed through the game.
