Although a work in progress, this game has been a real pleasant surprise. If you like Diablo like games, this really itches a scratch for looting and shooting. Been waiting for something like this for a long time, and is well worth the price tag even in it's incomplete state, Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an ARPG with lots of fun loot and items to play with, while stalking around in a killer robot. Excited to see where this goes.

Between the lore, the setting, the gameplay and the nemesis system... More fun than I've had in awhile with a game like this.

Tried this out after getting into Vampire Survivors, RoR2 and Hades. And am glad I did. If you like 2D Side scrolling action, and playing with a robust and interesting list of weapons and other kit... I can't recommend this one enough. Really enjoyed VS, Hades was fun and has great atmosphere, RoR2 is still one of my favorite games, but Dead Cells is giving it a run for it's money. So much awesome in one game, and I'm definitely addicted. I hope they keep adding content for awhile. But even if they don't there's a ton already in there.

A gamers game. One of the most addicting games I've ever played. Cool characters, interesting maps, awesome music and you can be beyond OP, whats not to love?

As a long time fan and player of ARPG's, this is one of the more disappointing one's I've come across. I really tried to like it. I put almost 20 hours into it just waiting to find some interesting loot or something to make me say "awesome!" but not once. I did find a couple set pieces and unique items, but not a single one for the character I was playing. Insanely frustrating. I know people do like this game, and at a base level it's a solid game. But after about the 10 hour mark, and realizing there really is nothing to look forward to outside some character and story progression, I completely lost all desire to play anymore. Not to mention 0 character customization was pretty disappointing. If you're looking for a hack and slash, it'll satisfy that. If you're looking for a looter with interesting gear or character builds... I could not suggest this game. Hoping they give me the refund I requested. Perhaps things will improve after it clears beta.

Been playin since 09. Always come back to it after a break. Nothing else like it out there. Love this game.
