Omori is by far up there with some of the best games I've ever played. Don't get me wrong -- it's in no way perfect, the fighting gameplay being my core complaint (specifically the fact that you can't save during a fight), but the story of this game is so beautiful and unlike anything I've ever seen before. It's way more well written than I initially subconsciously expected from an indie game, but judging from the fact that it took 8 years to develop, I'm really not surprised by the level of detail and polish put into every corner of this fantastic game. Everything about this game was thought out; every step you take, you take for a reason. I absolutely can't recommend this game to anyone enough, please for the love of god try it, but please do expect to be taken for a ride while you're at it.

awesome game

Really entertaining rhythm game! The biggest criticism I've seen people have, and that made me a bit worried before buying, was that it was too hard that when you were dead - you were dead. You have to start over every single time you die. This turned out to be just fine as it sort of reminded me of Geometry Dash in that sense. Though, I do really believe that if they had a practice mode - like Geometry Dash, then it would appeal to a more casual community as well. As of the time of this review I have 3.7 hours, and I'm at world 7 and having a blast.

If repeating levels to constantly get farther isn't your cup of tea, don't get this game - but if it is, I'm sure you'll have a blast :)

This game might not be everyone's cup of tea, especially considering the graphics, but if you can ignore that this game is a lot of fun. As someone who came late to the party with this game I can say I had a lot of fun with this, and now that it's on Steam as well, that probably won't change. :)
