Unlike most people, I played the remake first on my ps4.

I'm finishing the first "CD" right now; starting the game again and seeing it through different eyes is a different experience, but I recommend it to anyone that is on the fence of playing it after the remake.

Oh, and you don't need to wait another 2+ years to see the whole story.
TIP: "the reunion" mod is worth it for the fast forward.
