What a delightfully cozy experience this demo was!
I've been on the lookout for an easy-going gardening game ever since Viva Pinata left a huge impression on me!

But, this goes beyond that expectation and delivers a charmingly fresh twist on the formula by breaking up gardening gameplay with a string of character interactions, I like the pace of how you only speak to one character at a time, and the dialogue is just delightfully written. I love the old English, historical feel to it!

All of this is delicately wrapped-up with a soothing soundtrack which also won over my heart. The gently harpe melodies seriously melt away any worries you may have before going into the game!

Finally, I'd like to note how it's obvious that a lot of care went into this demo & it's super clear that it's being made by a team that are passionate about accurate horticultural and historical representations!

Can't wait to see how the rest of the game unfolds!

What a delightful game! Squeakross is so charming and bright, that it's hard not to get swept up in its positivity. So much care has gone into this game to make everything pop & feel as satisfying as possible to play. And the loop of completing puzzles to unlock furniture is a genius combination. Playing it is a pure joy!

What a delightful demo! It is a bit sandbox-y, with points of interest spread out a load, but it's a very generous glimpse of future potential when the game gets more love & design. You can absolutely get a lot of mileage out of this demo. Also, absolutely loved the charmful setting, characters, secrets and fossil polishing! I'm looking forward to the full-release!
