As someone who has played the first and second TDU game - I was waiting for this game since it was announced. Added to it was Hong Kong Island, a place I've been to and I was sold.

I got this game after the first 2 days so I won't comment on the first 48 hours but I was aware that it was awful. Classic TDU style, can't have a proper launch. But the developers have listened and will provide compensation - whether that's good or not we'll have to see. Since Day 3 and Day 4 though, the servers have improved significantly and while there are occasional disconnects while racing overall it's been a fair positive experience.

To me it has almost everything that I need from a TDU game - car selection and sounds. My word they've outdone Forza for the sounds, while the selection is smaller than a lot of games I think the detail in each car has been great. You feel a personal connection to the car after you purchase it (of course, it's an investment in this game! no freebies like Forza!).

An amazing map + environment adds to the enjoyment of having a great car (HK is represented really well by the developers and while it's not exact, it's a fair enough representation that I can know where I am at any point.) I've spent most of my time exploring solo and it's unbelievable how much detail there is. When the servers are even more stable and more people are on, it'll be enjoyable to cruise with friends for sure! Hopefully they'll add cross-region free roam too. I think just for these two factors alone - I'd have to recommend this game. It's a good change from the boring old Forzas and Need for Speeds that I do love but have been tired for a while.

I'm not sure where the online-only situation will lead us, hopefully the developers have a plan better than Ubisoft (not killing a game off) - I would like an offline mode but if the developers can implement it better and fix the servers when more people join then it's something I'd be willing to understand.

Optimisation too is something I hope the developers do work on - while I can run it perfectly fine on my 4070 laptop (even on Ultra settings!) I know that a lot of people can't. But i hope in the long term they make this game more optimised and keep updating and fixing these little things.

There's a lot of potential with this game - and while TDU:SC is rough around the edges, there's a lot that'll definitely make it worth the amount when the game releases. Hopefully the developers bring out a lot of content that prevents it from getting stale too.

I understand the negative reviews but please look beyond them if you're genuinely tempted to buy - a lot of these are from Day 1/2 when the servers were literally unable to accommodate anyone. The game has been getting better and better since early access and there's no reason why it wouldn't get any better.

TL;DR - don't necessarily look at the negative reviews that only talk about the servers - the game runs fine for a majority of players now. and beyond the technical issues this game is genuinely fun and enjoyable.

I played this game when it was released on PS3 - and now 10 years afterwards I bought it again. The game holds alright for 10 years but the concept of hacking with the GTA gameplay never fails to disappoint.

The darkest story of the 3 games. The best story of the 3 games. Chicago in this game really feels super dark, grim and gloomy much like the story.

i love the story so much and it's so fun to go through this game again. I'd recommend it at the sale price if you've never tried it.

Before I start, this game will break your relationships off. Be careful.

Other than that, I think this game does well and it's a unique concept that forces you to be in pressurising situations and tests you while also keeping you on your toes at every second. I don't know how realistic it is compared to the actual bomb defusal, however, you can feel the tensions whenever you play the game.

I'd recommend this to anyone, and the best part is you only need one copy considering the other person needs the manual which is available online. Overall fun to play with family and friends.

UPDATE: Go buy the remastered one - much better looking + optimised + still has the same fun aspect. Multiplayer works too.

Don't mistake my lack of hours in this game, I've had it on PC (just not STEAM) and PS3 before and I've dumped a ridiculous amount of hours on it. I know this is a late review but still, better to get it done :P

I think this is probably one of the best Need for Speed games of recent. In terms of gameplay and fun and value, it's right up there alongside the classics of Most Wanted (2005) or Carbon (2006). The returning cop vs racer dynamic is pretty fun. Shame the multiplayer is either broken or filled with cheaters, however, this game still functions well for its age offline.

Would I recommend it at full price? Absolutely not, go get the remastered one.
On sale? If you're looking for a fun game to spend time on the go or offline, yeah. Still would recommend the remastered one unless this is literally less than 2 dollars.

CS:GO Review
I've had this game for the best part of 4+ years, got it as a gift from a friend so never actually bought it. At first I wasn't too keen on playing it due to a lack of people who wanted to play in a team/stack (especially when the first few games on casual I played were filled with toxic people, something this game suffers from a lot.)

However, the competitive aspect, no matter how bugged or filled with cheaters it is, tests the best out of one and the game itself involves so many skills that I kept coming back to it. If you're a casual gamer, then this is not the game for you, but if you love competition and challenges alongside FPS games, this is absolutely the game for you. I'd recommend it for that fact, and especially if you have 4 others to play with in a team. Unless you're actively willing to go through the pain of solo-queue with toxic players, then I'd say find active people who enjoy playing to get the best out of this game.

Overall, I don't know how to rate this game. At times you'll absolutely hate it due to cheaters and shooting mechanics or literally the smallest of things (forgetting a defuse kit, or getting caught with a grenade in your hand.) but the satisfaction of winning a close game especially with clutches is a different euphoric feeling that makes it worth it (at least for me!), I guess that's why I'll recommend it if you're like me and enjoy competitive gameplay.

I just wished they hadn't made the game F2P, however, it was expected. I still prefer this over VALORANT but we'll see over the next few months/years how this game ages more.

A simple and efficient game. Fun and involves strategy but also allows for out of the box creativity when building the metro lines. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a cheap game that is quick to play and can be played anywhere. (especially on the go!)

As someone who has travelled on various metros and enjoys train lines, this game is amazing and the devs have made the maps well enough (they're simple but they resemble the real cities) and there's a variety of them so that the game never gets boring.

WARNING: May be rage inducing especially when you need bridges or tunnels but don't have them and suddenly a stop pops up across the waters.

But overall, a fun and addicting game. Absolutely would recommend.
