In our body, Farting is the expulsion of the intestine's gases upon our anus, and once we expel all these gasses from our anuses, it creates a sound. The sound in particular could either sound funny for some, and annoying for some. But the main concern is: Can Farting actually be considered "Art"?

Traditionally, if you considered farting an "art", then people would consider you as a barbarian or a mystifying individual, but the problem is that we don't live in the past centuries anymore.
To answer that question, we have to look how humor has changed towards all of us in the following years.
Over the past 20 decades, internet memes went from actually making sense, to "brainrot", which consist of newly-made slang and absolutely random stuff (such as the Hawk Tuah meme) that for some reason make people burst into laughter, another random thing that is funny towards others is you guessed it, farting.
Various Fart sound effects have been used on the internet for all sorts of things, whether it being used for memes, commentary, etc, people still consider the sound as a funny occurence. Many artworks that people also considered as "funny and hilarious" were also displayed in several museums internationally, which potentially could make farting considered as a "work of art" if an exhibit which features the Fart sound effect is included.
Now for the actual answer, we would have to look at one of Marcel Duchamp's "Fountain" urinal, which was revolutionairy for the world of artistry, and if a Urinal can be a revolutionairy piece of art, why not Farts? The concept of art is potentially well-aligned with Performance Art and Conceptualism, because if a Fart is timed well, which also includes intentionality and audience reception in mind, it causes the performance to be actually aligned with these concepts. And with a society with a changed humor, we could also have the ability to tokenise farts and sell them to willing buyers for our desired funds.
In conclusion, Farting is potentially considered as an art, because if you manage to frame it in a correct way within the right conceptual concept, then you can safely consider Farting as an art.
