Has a steep difficulty cliff but very rewarding to finally "get it"

You can learn about attack helicopters and make them blush.

It's just a silly game to spend an evening with your friends on. Easily worth the asking price despite outstanding amount of bugs.

A cute little visual novel with a little bit of comedy and a little bit of feels. Solid read, can recommend.

This game is just magical. If you've completed Dank Souls and still looking for something more demanding, look no further.
There is no ther game which lets you choose your own fate like this one.

If you want to pick it up I'd recommend staring with the Narcissu 1st&2nd that's available for free here on Steam. As far as I know the only difference is the engine used as the Anthology edition is on a newer engine, but the content is the same.
Read at least the first one as it's quite short.
Then, if you think that you want more suffering, depression and sleepless nights filled with silent cries of despair of the same then you shoud buy the full package, and by that I mean the Season Pass.

A tip for you: play the game BEFORE you read anything about it, it's quite shor. Believe me.

In all seriousness, this game has one the greatest writing I have seen in a video game in my entire life.
After all, what can be better that about 90 to 120 minutes of continuous tank-related innuendos, WW2 tank puns and military references, right?

If you consider that this game is eleven years old, it's not that bad. Sure, the animations are a bit wonky by today's standards and the highest available resolution is 1024x768, but the game runs at smooth 60fps at my crappy lappot with stuff going on in the background.

This game wins my heart because of its setting and story. There is no other game in which you can stealth around Charnobyl, Kremlin AND Lubyanka. The AI is good as well, it is not perfect, but enemies will seek cover during firefights instead of standing in the middle of the room like bunch of idiots. They are not pansies too, they were trained in the Glorious Soviet Union, so they hurt. Really hurt.
The crafting system is good, I have no idea how Carter knows how to make a mine out of a can and three bullets, but it works in the game and is balanced, so I won't dig much. Maybe he was trained by the CIA after all... The 'camera' is a great gameplay tool as well.

There are of course some bad things. Apart from a bit dated visuals, which do not look bad if you ask me, the missions in which you control Comrade Grushkov are in my opinion the worst. Sure, I get it, he's a soldier so he does not sneak around, but in one of 'his' levels the enemies literally spawn in front of you. This also happens in one place towards the end of the campaign. All in all, the final few missions are IMO worse than the rest of the game, but your milage may wary.

All in all, for the asking price of 5EUR, and possibly even lower if you consider buying this on sale, it gives you a solid campaign with very unusual setting and challenging gameplay. I've finished the story in 7 hours on normal, but I've played the game at least twice few years ago, so I still remembered what to do and where to go.

TL;DR: If you're not terrified of dated visuals and have few bucks lying around, give it a try.
