Amazing, just buy it.

Bought an FPV set up mid 2017 and was petrified to fly so I bought Liftoff as suggested by a friend. I didn't give it much chance and so I sold the setup to concentrate on my DJI Video drones. Then at Christmas just gone I decided to buy Fly Egg 130, Aomway Goggles and the Taranis Q X7. Was petrifified again but decided to put some time into Liftoff this time. Well a few days ago I went into the game and wow..... I had nailed it, things just clicked, so I took my gear out to the field and yup.... NAILED IT there too.

This is a great learning tool for those wishing to get into FPV.

If you are sitting there thinking "Oh here we go another early access survival game in Alpha", then yes you are right, but you are probably then thinking that this game is gonna be just like the rest of them. Think again! This game is polished in the fact that it does things brilliantly and with great humor, graphics and design, but yes it has its glitches too.

So far, I have seen a great community and I hope that this remains. I have played solo and been instantly invited into guilds to help them de-throne the king and take control of the realm, and I have also played in my own group with close friends to build our own fortress with a view to gear up and maybe push forward at some stage to have a crack at the throne ourselves.

If you have £15 burning your pockets and you have the time to spend gathering resources and knowing that this is alpha so can reset at any stage, then go for it, I can tell you that it will be £15 well invested in game play time.

I have spent 15 hours at the time or writing and have thouroughly enjoyed the game, the crafting and the role playing.

Let's hope that the game continues to develop as good as the introduction that we are experiencing already.

Even on day one of Early Alpha, this is massively more enjoyable than the mod. Just the inventory and the ability to easily join servers and friends has made this a powerful game that will develop massively more over the next 12 months of alpha.
