Mass Effect has always had a soft spot in my heart, and after recently upgading my rig and playing 20 minutes of the 3rd title, I decided to go back and play the second. I have never been happier with a decision like this. ME2 is a gem of a video game in NEARLY every way. The only thing I dislike, besides everything attributed to EA and their awful supprot, is the cover system- it's janky and WILL get you killed if you play anything squishy like a Biotic or an Infiltrator. However, the gameplay is solid, the biotics are tight, the wepon selectin is somewhat slim (compared to ME3) but each feels different, and has a ton of upgrades to be found, purcahsed in game thorugh vendors, or researched via space-minerals. The cahracters in this game will leave you so involved that you will name a cat after them. Really, I did. Tali is right next to me. Buy it, because it is on sale right now, and it is beautiful.
