I used to run Windows 8.1 for the speed but accidentally killed the install then switched back to 7. Also I tried making it into a hackintosh once by installing Mac OS X 10.7 Lion on it. The GPU drivers made the entire system freeze at random so I nuked the install. Fun experience though.
I was also thinking of getting a nicer CPU for it like a T7500, T8300, T9300 or T9500.
