This game is absolutely stellar. (pause for laughter) It is by far Paradox's best title. The gameplay is engaging but never overwhelming. The customizability is absolutely through the roof; You are not relegated to any default faction, in fact you are encouraged to design your own! Sure, the tools at your disposal are not infinite, but there's more than enough variety to keep the game fresh for hundreds of hours. What's more, the game is constantly evolving and growing, not just through mods but through the constant official updates. It may be a bit niche, but if it's your niche, it'll fit in perfectly.
