Amazing game. The graphics is insanely good and audio/visual feedback is impactful and nice. The mechanics are hardcore and you need to squeeze out every advantage you can get from skills/items in order to survive and prosper. The RPG mechanics are kind of what you'd expect; gather exp from quests/exploration/crafting/killing enemies to level up, choose stats to improve and abilities to learn. There are hardcore survival mechanics, you need to eat and keep hydrated and manage morale, fatigue and more. The prologue/tutorial is voice acted with very high quality, and the first lines when you start a new game is also voice acted, the rest of the game is not, not as far as I've played at least.

Huge, named, updates are released about yearly. Last one added a caravan feature and a buuunch of other updates. I actually like it this way. Go devs! Take your time and make the game great. It's done when it's done.

The only thing that is really missing for me is a character creator. However, that is promised for the full release. If this is a big deal for you as well I found that the character creation is listed as 'high priority' in the devs roadmap which makes me think that it may make into in the next big update. And the next big update possibly releases late 2025.

Could be the best game I've played this year, together with Elden Ring. Quite different games though, haha. This one is super cozy.

Epic game. Can be frustrating at times, just power through it!

The best thing about this game is that you really feel that you are getting stronger. Encounters that were impossible in the beginning become trivial once you gain some power.

Interesting story and quests.

But be aware that this is old and janky. Controls are clunky and you can easily get stuck in the terrain. Save often! (Quick saving is great, F5. Quick load with F9).

The voice acting is often very bad, but it's often funny-bad.

If you can see past it's flaws, it's an instant classic!

Cool game, was hoping for and expecting more of the scariness of Amnesia 1. Would have been better with more focus on horror imho. This is more like SOMA than Amnesia 1, but SOMA's story was way cooler in my opinion.

Even though this ranks third among Amnesia 1 and SOMA, this is a really cool, well made and polished game.

So amazing mechanics. So polished. I'm playing through it again now on PC after having completed it on the PS4. The only gripe I have is the unskippable cutscenes. It's not all bad though, there is a cutscene that I go back to Youtube to watch from time to time. This time I didn't have to open my browser to watch it. xD

Minor critique:
* I would have liked 100% voice acting.
* I wouldn't say that it's open world, although it is marketed that way.

Anyway, a modern classic in my eyes. Hats off to the devs, wonderful work.
