The game is currently a 9/10. With a few gameplay tweaks and a working A-Life, this will easily be a 10/10 and just as easily the best game in the series, absolutely no contest here and I say this as a huge fan of the originals (I'm obviously not including Anomaly/GAMMA here).

I can comfortably say this is easily one of the best games I've ever played and I recommend it to everyone, especially those who aren't good at and/or have little interest in Souls games. The very nature of the game makes this one something else and, as someone who sucks at these games and can't parry to save my life, I managed to kill even the hardest bosses.
