EDIT: 27th October - well things have improved somewhat so pivoting to a positive but i'm leaving my original negative review below as a reminder of how bad it was at it's worst.

It's still annoying seeing 6 stars in 3 star lobbies!

First time i've felt compelled to leave a review but these devs are the definition of incompetent.

One little code change yesterday to try and balance MMR - they've managed to break lobbies, killed queuing with randoms, 30 minute wait times for games, putting 3 stars in 6 star lobbies so it's a killing frenzy to name a few.

Worst state i've seen the game for some time.

Sat here after 45 hours, credits rolling, tears in my eyes, while on the surface this is just a puzzle game, it's something far deeper. If you have the patience and the willing, there are some hard questions asked around our mortality and our place in the universe and how we conduct ourselves through life, with others and ultimately how honest we are with ourselves. There is a depth here not seen in many other games, let alone a puzzler.

Ok, enough of the waffle, the puzzles are tough, makes Portal games look like a walk in the park. There aren't just the main puzzles, there are bonus puzzles, over-arching puzzles in each biome to solve to find stars as well as gold puzzles that are available once you've completed anything else.

All I can say is if you're on the fence, take a chance, worse case if you don't like it, refund it in 2 hours, I doubt you'll refund it though, it's utterly engrossing.
