There's not much else that can be said that other reviews haven't said already. BG3 is amazing in terms of scope, scale, customization, response to player choices, and emulating what it is like to play D&D with your friends (especially in co-op). The optimization in Act 3 has been rough, but Larian has been releasing patches to fix a lot of user complaints and performance issues. A game that is a work of passion from a passionate developer. It isn't prefect (personally I find characters to be too thirsty), but the quality and enjoyment I get from playing outweighs most of my gripes. There's a reason BG3 will probably walk away with arm loads of GOTY awards.

Where did the last four hours go?

I highly recommend this game if you like to lose yourself in a complex system of mechanics that will melt away hours of your life. The graphics are simple, but the art style is really nice to look at. The humor is good, without being cringe-worthy. The sounds and music are pleasing to listen to for long play sessions. Really the only warning I'd give is that this game isn't for twitchy fast action players. This is very much a game for those who like to take their time, learn new systems/mechanics, and aren't afraid to start all over.

One of the best games you will never finish.

Be it adding mods on top of mods or just wandering around aimlessly shooting arrows at giants, there is a lot of content here. It is Skyrim, most have played it and if you haven't you should.
