Postal 2 is a game that tried very hard to ensure that if you don't leave completely offended, you will either
a) have a good chuckle and laugh a great deal or,
b) see the completely flawed game mechanics and truthfully... abysmal game veiled under some uncreative, yet funny, game comedy.
So obviously this game is not for everyone, specifically anyone who is easily offended, by either the ability to urinate as an attack of sorts, maybe the odd run in with drugs as a major health increase, or perhaps the major idea of the game being that life's ultimate short-cut is extrenous violence.
But if you can take this game with a good humour, it is a very odd corner of the video game world that should be experienced once in a while.
Yes, as a game, its pretty bad, the shooting is clunky, you have many different items in your inventory and yet no real way to easily access them, and the goals are a bit vague and confusing at times, making you guess or give up and drop a few pedestrians and urinate on their corpses.
It has a charm though, very quirky, and with a few really interesting points in the days, usually ending in hilarity or a side-ways look of judgement from whomever notices you playing it.
If you can get it for around 5 bucks, it can be worth it, but don't expect an award winner.

This is game is like an STD, nobody wants it, but once its spread around a bit, it becomes something we laugh abut later.
Okay okay, yes, this game is awful, terrible even, abysmal, shockingly bad, truly a waste of time, a cheap knock-off that really doesn't seem convincing in any trailers, the grahics are nothing to write to anyone about, don't come here looking for eye meltings, you will be surely disappointed. the gameplay is... ugh, not... no. just no.
Its too hard to get weapons, and killing zombies is not combat so much as it is a chore, there is no "fear" or sense of "accomplishment" it is merely trying to find the weapon spawn points, abusing them, and hoping you have enough ammunition to have some sort of affect on people or zombies.
Want to know about the AI? well guess what, there isn't one. Zombies "sense" you and then vaguely saunter in your direction, powerful stuff.
Ultimately, why do I recommend this game though? if I can? ugh, Its very hard to do so, but there is a hateful charm to this game, do not buy it, ever, EVER for any real amount of money, anything around a dollar or less is pushing it even, but if you can get this for really, REALLY cheap? it has some redeeming factors.
Of course, the multiplayer, bad, very bad, awful even, but! got some buddies to play with you? the experience gets... a tiny bit better, because now you have a goal, eachother. Isn't that romantic?
Turns out, its usually a waste of time, but its a good way to kill a few hours.
This game is terrible, but because of that, its a spectacle, play it with some friends, and enjoy telling some awful stories about this pile of fecal matter ♥♥♥♥ out by some very sad developers.
Also, the microtranactions are awful. never use it, unless you have lost your testicals and feel that at least having in-game purchased items will bring some empowerment to yourself. 2.1/10

"Damn, I'm looking good" a wise man once said.
I lied, Duke Nukem said that, and while he is indeed a man (more a walking entity of testosterone and ass-kickery really) there is not much that can confirm him as "wise".
This game however, is brilliant.
Duke Nukem 3D Megaton edition has basically everything Duke Nukem 3D ever had and more, with key features like online multiplayer double-kicking their way out of beta and into something playable. which basically states that this version of the game is the ultimate Duke Nukem 3D experience.
the game runs smoothly, supports higher resolutions, and takes advantage of high quality sound devices to deliver essentially a crisp look back to the time when Duke was still king.
there are no real upgrades in terms of graphics or gameplay, its the original game, its just become a helluva lot easier to boot up and play at a moments notice.
Duke Nukem 3D took everything that made Doom popular and turned it to 11, with real world environments, complex and difficult maps that made you work for the next stage, and of course, arguably the best iteration into the FPS genre, character.
While many shall be highly anti-Duke, and often rightfully so, he was the first character in an FPS that was actually... well, a character. not a cardboard cut-out of a space marine, or just... nothing at all.
that may not be saying much, because you can probably sum up Duke and everything he stands for by just looking at him, and most of his one-liners are stolen directly from other sources, albeit expertly reiterated by the epitomous Jon St.Jon.
But Duke has a charm that is just low key and far more entertaining than it should be in these early shooters, while the newest iteration in the Duke series was, let us say less than subtle and less than excellent, the original 1996 shooter still holds up, and is by far one of the best shooters of all time.
